As a Senior Microsoft Cloud Consultant, you will leverage your expertise in Microsoft cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on Hybrid cloud, to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud services.

The work location for this role is flexible if approved by Covenant except this position may not be performed remotely from Colorado and California.

Responsibilities:

Designs and implements cloud solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring alignment with best practices and client requirements.

Manages and optimizes Active Directory environments, including Azure Active Directory, ensuring secure access and identity management.

Provides technical guidance and support for cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from on-premises to cloud environments.

Collaborates with clients to assess their cloud strategy, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Develops and executes scripts and automation processes to streamline cloud operations and enhance efficiency.

Monitors and troubleshoots cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of services.

Conducts training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams on Microsoft cloud technologies and best practices.

Stays updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Microsoft cloud solutions.

Implements and manages user identities.

  • Plans and implements workload identities.
  • Plans and implements identity governance.

System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) now known as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

Qualifications:

Education, License or Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience; relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

Proven experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and related security foundations.

Extensive experience with Active Directory, including management of user accounts, group policies, and security settings.

Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and management tasks.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience:

Experience with cloud governance and compliance frameworks.

Knowledge of networking concepts and hybrid cloud architectures.

Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies (e.g., OneDrive, Teams, Security).

  • Experience implementing and managing user identities and workload identities and identity governance
  • Experience implementing authentication and access management
