Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and developing design of technology functions.
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Verify and deploy programs and systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Recommend and execute improvements.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a software developer, software engineer or similar role
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
- Knowledge of coding languages: PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Swift, Kotlin, SQL
- Knowledge of Frameworks: Git, Bootstrap
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructures
- Experience with databases
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Excellent communication skills
Must reside in Nashville, Tennessee area or within driving distance that is practical in order to attend periodic team meetings.
Qualifications:
BS/BA in computer science, engineering, or a related field; senior level college students seeking part-time work will be considered.
