Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Software Architect to join fast growing team. The Chief Software Architect will play a critical role in developing and executing the software architecture strategy for our company. This individual will be responsible for leading the software team in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient and scalable software solutions. The Chief Software Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical designs that align with business goals. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and technical expertise to drive innovation and ensure the overall success of our software products.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to help them achieve project goals and succeed in their professional growth.
  • Develop and execute technical strategies and roadmaps to ensure the scalability, stability, and security of our software products.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and designers, to gather requirements and translate them into detailed software architecture designs.
  • Drive architectural decisions by analyzing risks, trade-offs, and impact on the organization and its goals.
  • Champion high-quality software development practices and standards, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and company policies.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements, industry trends, and emerging standards to continuously optimize software architecture and development processes.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support to development teams, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and driving effective problem resolution.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the overall quality and maintainability of the codebase.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture governance processes, evaluate technology risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the product team to plan and estimate project timelines, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Handles all DevOps, including back-end code.
  • Leads the design of software solutions and guides in maintaining legacy software. This includes creating the process for fixing bugs, enhancements, and internal support.
  • Identify all requirements involved in product development, including specific tools and coding language.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering successful software solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and software design principles.
  • Experience in software development in mixed programming languages that includes back-end systems, and web-driven environments.
  • Technical knowledge in security, data management, storage, and network areas
  • Extensive experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture.
  • Extensive experience with distributed and data-centric architectures
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards a common vision.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives.
  • Relevant certifications will be considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of IEC 13485, and medical regulatory software solutions
