As one of the fastest growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced CORPORATE: Automotive Sequencing & WMS Systems Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

CLI is seeking an ambitious, professional individual to perform business analyses and requirements gathering and implementation, support, documentation, and training of end users on using the CLI Proprietary Sequencing / WMS / Order Management Enterprise Systems, Specializing in Automotive JIT /JIS Sequencing system which supports RF scanning with integration into ERP (order management, accounting, and other supply chain applications). Prior experience with warehousing processes, systems setup and configuration and solutions is mandatory in a 3PL and Automotive JIT /JIS Sequencing, Bulk, and CMA fulfilment environment. The individual will interface with internal and external departments.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Participate from conception to Go-live and beyond when launching new facilities.
  • Work closely with Project Manager, Technical and Product Managers to ensure successful implementations and or participate as the Project Manager.
  • Understanding and execution of Sequencing / WMS system setup for Automotive Sequencing facilities
  • Monitor status issues, assist with project direction and help facilitate solutions.
  • Ensure all activities are completed within schedule and delivered satisfactorily.
  • Provide timely (on-call) support to application users regarding: Application configuration questions/issues, gathering user requests for changes, Application functions questions.
  • Interface with the Development team regarding: User’s Request for changes, Updated systems. documentation, High level solution design for new application functions development, etc.
  • Participate or lead the UAT process.
  • Makes sure application configuration in the facilities are correct. Schedules facilities application configuration ‘audits’ and resolve wrong configurations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Understanding of Sequencing / WMS systems with warehouse operations experience.
  • Full implementation including setup of master data, EDI / JIT Broadcast for sequencing operations.
  • IBM MQ Server & Process knowledge.
  • RF barcode scanning devices and applications and industry standards.
  • Barcode label printing (Bartender or similar software experience recommended).
  • MS SQL querying / reporting recommended.
  • The ability to multi-task and manage across multiple customer and internal activities.
  • Team player with customer service focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret business requirements, system documentation, and technical procedures.
  • Be able to understand issues, determine root causes, to collaborate with internal and external teams, to communicate frequently and comprehensively until they are resolved.
  • Proposes creative solutions and innovations.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.

DEGREES, CERTIFICATES and EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years WMS experience in customer support, implementations, project management, system configurations.
  • Minimum 5 years Sequencing / WMS / Order Management experience with Proprietary WMS and or other commercial WMS Systems.
  • MS SQL experience a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Office / Plant environment and working remote with all the necessary equipment and supplies needed to ensure success.
  • Extensive computer work required.
  • Travel to our remote and customer locations for onsite work including launching of new sites.
