Judge Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Therapist for one of our biggest clients in Baltimore and Glen Burnie, MD


Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Salary: 60K+ based on experience


Overview: As a member of the team, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, developing, coordinating, and providing treatment and counseling services. Your focus will be on helping clients and their families cope with health-related social problems. This position involves collaboration with other professionals and community resources.


Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct screening interviews and assessments using various methods, including personal interviews, referral information, and medical history.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and mental health professionals to recommend treatment plans that address medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial needs. Modify plans as necessary to meet client-specific goals.
  3. Provide ongoing counseling to individuals, groups, and families based on treatment plans.
  4. Identify gaps in services and advocate for reducing barriers to treatment and accessing community resources.
  5. Build strong relationships with patients, families, co-workers, and the surrounding community. Educate families and natural supports.
  6. Manage cases for an assigned group of clients, including coordinating and monitoring individual treatment plans.
  7. Provide crisis intervention and rapid support services to prevent hospitalization.
  8. Schedule medical and dental treatments, as well as doctor visits.


Requirements:

  1. Masters Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Professional Counseling or related field preferred
  2. One of the following LCP, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-C. 3 years post-masters clinical experience in a mental health setting
