You will play a crucial role in organizing the structure around release management and ensuring the stability and efficiency of our virtual environments, particularly within an AWS and Terraform ecosystem.


Location: Jersey City NJ (Hybrid 2 days onsite per week)

Long term Contract (Open ended SOW)

Key Skills: DevOPS , AWS , Terraform, CI/CD and Kubernetes

Must have 14+ Years of Total Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Offshore Resources: Oversee and coordinate the work of offshore teams to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Capacity Management: Monitor and manage system resources to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring: Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and availability of all infrastructure components.
  • IAP Reviews: Conduct Identity and Access Management (IAP) reviews to ensure security compliance and best practices.
  • UAT Environment Management: Build, maintain, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments to support testing and quality assurance efforts.
  • AWS Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Terraform Automation: Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Exposure to Sonic (Virtual Environment): Utilize and manage Sonic, a virtual environment, to support development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Release Management: Organize and streamline release management processes to ensure smooth and timely software releases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a DevOps or similar role with a focus on managing offshore teams.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency in capacity management and infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Experience with IAP reviews and ensuring compliance with security standards.
  • Hands-on experience in building and managing UAT environments.
  • Familiarity with Sonic or similar virtual environments.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Certification in AWS, Terraform, or other relevant DevOps technologies.
  • Experience in release management in large-scale environments.
