Job Summary

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring our products comply with all applicable regulations and standards. This position is responsible for managing regulatory matters and executing strategies to maintain compliance throughout the product lifecycle


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bodycare product regulations, experience with international markets, and the ability to adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes. They will play a vital role in ensuring our products meet all safety and compliance standards while supporting the company's growth and innovation.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee regulatory compliance for all products, from development to post-market approval
  • Prepare and submit regulatory documents for domestic and international markets
  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies aligned with company goals
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address changes in regulations, or testing requirements
  • Stay informed about current and upcoming cosmetic regulations, including the Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA)
  • Manage product registration processes and maintain regulatory files, and testing requirements for claims.
  • Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality control teams to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Conduct safety and exposure assessments for skincare products and ingredients
  • Oversee labeling compliance and review product claims


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of regulatory affairs experience in the cosmetics or personal care industry
  • In-depth knowledge of FDA regulations, international cosmetic regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Additional Requirements

Ability to operate effectively and efficiently on an independent level

Must be able to work from/visit our NYC Office 1-2 times per month

Up to 20% domestic travel
