Billing Analyst II

Billing Analyst IIOptomi is in partnership with a leading organization seeking a detail oriented Billing Analyst to provide critical technical support for their third-party billing systems. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with billing system development and implementation, contributing functional expertise to system design and build activities. The ideal candidate will bring 2-4 years of billing system experience, strong analytical capabilities, and the confidence to present insights to C-level executives. This position provides the chance to make a meaningful impact on system performance and user experience through continuous improvement initiatives.What the right candidate will enjoy:Providing technical support for third-party billing systems and contributing to system development and implementation.Analyzing systems for ongoing performance improvements at both user and system levels.Sitting in on design calls and contributing functional perspective to system builds.Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.Working onsite in a collaborative environment (5 days initially, transitioning to 4 days per week).Applying analytical skills and attention to detail to solve complex billing system challenges.Experience of the right candidate:2-4 years of experience working with billing systems (Specifically CSG).Demonstrated experience helping design and build billing systems from a functional perspective.Strong analytical experience with proficiency in Excel.Understanding of business rules and logic as applied to billing systems.Experience with UAT testing preferred.Coding background is a plus.Excellent communication skills with ability to present to C-level executives.Responsibilities of the right candidate:Provide technical support for third-party billing systems.Assist in developing and implementing billing system solutions.Analyze systems for ongoing performance improvements at user and system levels.Contribute functional perspective during system design and build activities.Participate in design calls and provide input on business rules and logic.Perform software testing and UAT testing as needed.Develop and maintain system documentation.Provide training to end users as required.Present findings, recommendations, and system updates to C-level executives.Demonstrate strong attention to detail and Type A personality in all deliverables.Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and confidently speak up with ideas and concerns.Leverage Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
