We are seeking skilled and flexible Registered Nurses to join our team on a per diem/Full time or Part time basis. As Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis, providing high-quality patient care across various departments and specialties within our hospital. This is an ideal opportunity for nurses seeking flexibility in their schedules and the ability to gain experience in different clinical settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care according to established protocols and standards of practice.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations, health histories, and diagnostic tests.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following proper medication administration procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, assess patient conditions, and intervene as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care and address patient needs.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards and best practices in nursing practice.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in NY
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in acute care nursing preferred.
  • BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS,
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different clinical settings and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
