Title : Electrical Engineering Drafter IV


What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with electrical engineering staff on combat vehicle design/build processes
  • Generate and update engineering models, drawings, and specifications using PTC Creo
  • Design and draft electrical and mechanical aspects of electrical/electronic equipment
  • Create designs for components, harness assemblies, and installations using Creo Cabling
  • Integrate complex vehicle systems with Electrical and Mechanical design teams
  • Document and manage 3D models in our document management system
  • Work on vehicle subsystems, including system architecture and cable interconnect diagrams
  • Gain hands-on combat vehicle experience through review, installation, and testing


Required Skills:

  • Experience with electrical/electronic systems
  • Proficiency in Creo CAD modeling, design, and drafting (minimum 1 year)
  • Experience designing, routing, and drawing wiring harness assemblies
  • Understanding of ASME Y14.100 and ASME Y14.5 standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills for our Integrated Product Team environment


Required Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of CREO design experience
  • CREO Cabling
  • Wire Harness design


Education:Associate Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus minimum 2 years of experience. Working knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical engineering tools highly desired.
