A client of ours is seeking a professional Buyer to join their growing team in Greer, SC. This is a full time, permanent/direct hire position with full benefits. This candidate MUST have experience buying fasteners.


Job Description:

  • Obtain quotes from suppliers for the sales department
  • Issue purchase orders for new parts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures


Qualifications:

  • On-the-job experience with buying metric fasteners (or other metal parts) for the automotive industry
  • Ability to read prints
  • Familiar with Public Standards - ISO, DIN, ASME, SAE, etc
  • Familiarity with an MRP system
  • Excellent negotiation and people skills


Hours:

  • Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm)


Compensation & Benefits:

  • $55,000 to $60,000 (Depending on experience)
