Responsibilities

Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and apply primers to steel surfaces using abrasive blasting, chemical cleaning, or power washing to ensure proper coating adhesion.

Coating Application: Apply protective coatings such as epoxy and polyurethane to steel structures, ensuring high quality and durability.

Quality Control: Inspect coating thickness, consistency, and finish to meet project specifications and industry standards.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines, wear protective gear, and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.

Documentation: Track project progress, materials used, and inspection results, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration: Work with project managers, welders, and other staff to ensure coatings are applied per schedule and specifications.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and store painting tools and equipment in good working condition.
