Assembly Plant Maintenance Manager

Location: Location:38111 Van Dyke Ave, Sterling Heights, MI 48312 (SHAP)Hours: 5:00pm - 1:00amThe General Assembly Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading the maintenance team in ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety of all manufacturing equipment and systems within the General Assembly area. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of supervisors, specialists, and skilled trades in the General Assembly areaDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifeTroubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and automation issuesCollaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational goalsEnsure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policiesManage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationshipsDrive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principlesMaintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports on equipment performance and downtimeQualificationsBachelor's Degree8+ Years automotive Industrial Maintenance2+ Years managing Mangers ExperienceAutomotive Union Background
