This is an open-ended multi-year projected contract position, and the successful candidate will be expected to be a self-starter and able to work independently.



DUTIES:


  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of the WMS solution, including project planning, stakeholder management, and technical configuration.
  • Collaborate closely with the warehouse operations team to understand business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
  • Oversee the testing process and ensure a seamless go live.
  • Provide ongoing support and optimization of the WMS system after implementation.
  • Train end-users and provide knowledge transfer to the internal team.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and communicate progress to stakeholders.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • 5+ years of experience ideally as a WMS Project Manager or Business Analyst, preferably with hands-on Oracle WMS implementation experience.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and execute project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in business analysis, requirements gathering, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and directing WMS implementations from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with High Jump, Manhattan, or Blue Mountain WMS solutions is a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week, with more frequent visits during the initial implementation phase.
  • Local to the project site is required.
