Hughes Engineering & Consulting is currently hiring for a contract, Document Control Specialist to collaborate with multiple client departments and disciplines to deliver day to day document management activities in a paperless environment for our client's projects.
Document Control Specialist Job Duties:
- Process documentation including receipt, verification, classification, registry, distribution, archiving, storage, and retrieval.
- Collaborate with SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) authors.
- Qualify and maintain templates and checklists for quality systems documentation.
- Support end user training on documentation.
- Assist in identifying document changes and deviations.
- Support audits as needed.
- Identify opportunities to enhance document control processes.
You will have:
- Minimum Associates Degree with 5+ years of relevant documentation control experience including for a Quality Assurance (QA) department within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Veeva system or similar documentation controls system experience.
- Understanding of Engineering and documentation change management
- Proven track record of being self-motivated and capable of working in diverse team situations with clients and maintaining a positive attitude towards project challenges.
- Ability for moderate travel to client site.
