Are you a DevOps Engineer with GCP experience?


We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join a New Jersey-based business. The ideal candidate will have strong cloud exposure, and experience implementing DevOps best practices, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.


Knowledge and Skills Required

  • 3+ years experience in DevOps tools – Proficiency with CI/CD tools and DevOps tooling and deployment automation best practices.
  • 3+ years experience with Git and Git flows
  • 3+ years experience with IaC – terraform/ARM/Cloud formation
  • Experience with GCP its relevant build, deployment, automation, networking and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Networking (Virtual Private Cloud, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect)
  • Compute (Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions)
  • Data (Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, BigTable, BigQuery, Storage)
  • Configuration Mgmt. and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager)
  • Containers (GKE, Cloud Run)
  • Security (Cloud Identity, Certificate Authority Service, Secret Manager)
  • Strong knowledge of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP/S


What will the role involve?


GCP DevOps Integration: Implement and manage DevOps for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) and version control.


IT Operations: Be part of on-call support team which provides 24*7 production support. Work across teams to triage issues.


DataDog Monitoring: Configure and manage Datadog monitoring solutions to ensure the heath and performance of IT systems and applications.


Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts and automation solutions to simplify repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to manage and provision resources.


Cloud Journey Advocate: Advocate for the adoption of cloud journey within the organization, highlight its benefits and advantages.
