Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled GIS Analyst to support our spatial data analysis and mapping projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GIS software, strong analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spatial Analysis: Perform spatial data analysis to support decision-making and project planning. Analyze and interpret geographic data using GIS tools and techniques.
  • Data Management: Collect, organize, and maintain GIS data. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Mapping and Visualization: Create and update maps, charts, and other visual representations of geographic information. Design and produce thematic maps to communicate spatial patterns and trends.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS software and applications. Assist in the development and implementation of GIS systems and workflows.
  • Report Generation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations based on GIS analysis. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Project Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide GIS solutions. Participate in project meetings and contribute to project planning.
  • Data Integration: Integrate GIS data with other datasets and software applications. Ensure seamless data integration and compatibility across systems.


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GIS Professional) are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a GIS Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar tools.
