Job Description:

A leading wireless technology company in Acton, MA, is looking for a Mechanical Engineer or Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its product development team. This role focuses on thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, and the design of aluminum castings, contributing to the development of next-generation wireless solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and analyze mechanical components for wireless products, ensuring performance and manufacturability.
  • Conduct thermal analysis and fluid dynamics simulations to optimize designs.
  • Design and oversee the production of aluminum castings, ensuring quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical systems.
  • Perform prototype development, testing, and design validation.
  • Document design processes, test results, and manufacturing procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, focusing on product development.
  • Expertise in thermal analysis, fluid dynamics, and aluminum casting design.
  • Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in wireless or electronics-related industries.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping and materials science.
