We are currently seeking a highly seasoned and strategic leader to join our amazing team.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic candidate to act as a strategic partner to our founder/CEO, translating vision into actionable strategies across all subsidiaries. This dual role is pivotal in driving our organizational growth, profitability, and ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives. The candidate, as a generalist in this capacity, will spearhead operational strategies, ensuring flawless execution of business objectives, meticulously manage all financial aspects, and steer the company’s financial strategy and planning, including creating and implementing an overall playbook to optimize operational processes, enhance efficiency, drive sustainable growth, manage financial reporting and risk, and ensure the company's financial health and stability. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of leadership experience, with a strong background in real estate, finance, business acquisition, scaling operations, and investor relations, playing a critical role in shaping our company’s financial strategy and achieving operational excellence. This role will significantly free the CEO/Founder to focus on overall strategy, vision, external relations, and deal-making.
Qualifications:
Proven Leadership: Extensive experience (10+ years) in senior executive roles as EVP, COO, CFO, or similar, demonstrating effective management of diverse business operations and financial functions. Strong leadership capabilities and organizational acumen, skilled in motivating teams, achieving results, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Visionary Implementation: Proficiency in translating founder/CEO’s vision into actionable plans, showcasing strategic foresight and innovative thinking.
Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of multifaceted real estate industry with a history of driving operational excellence and financial proficiency. Extensive experience in real estate investment analysis/structuring, development, finance, leasing, and RE transactions.
Communication Skills: Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, adept at collaborating with senior executives, stakeholders, and clients, while effectively developing and maintaining relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial partners.
Educational Background: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field; Doctorate or CPA a plus.
Financial Acumen: Advanced financial and analytical skills, with a proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis. Expertise in construction project cost accounting, construction accounting principles, project cost management, and financial controls.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate financial data into actionable insights. Strong business/operations acumen with a passion for continuous improvement and experience streamlining policies and procedures.
Technology Proficiency: Experience with financial systems and software to enhance operational efficiencies and financial reporting capabilities.
