Wings Air Helicopters based at Westchester County Airport (HPN) in White Plains, NY is seeking a part time Social Media Manager to join our growing team. We have been in business since 2002 and offer a variety of helicopter services including charter, curated experiences, tours, flight training and aerial cinematography. 


The ideal candidate is self-motivated, polished and detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The Social Media Manager will oversee the company’s interactions with the public on social media platforms, implement captivating content strategies, analyze engagement data, build and maintain the company’s brand online and generate new sales.


This position is primarily home based with a flexible schedule of at least 20 hours per week including some weekends and evenings due to the “always on” nature of aviation and social media. The candidate must be locally based in the Eastern US time zone and be available to attend team meetings at our HPN office periodically.

Job Description:


  • Plan & develop a social media content calendar for relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn);
  • Work jointly with marketing team to develop and amplify campaigns;
  • Respond to audience and customers on social media;
  • Provide social media progress reports and insights utilizing measurement tools, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics.


Requirements:


  • 2+ years professional experience in social media, brand/personality management;
  • Valid US work authorization;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Locally based;


Preferred by not required:


  • Foreign language skills;
  • Sales experience;
  • Aviation experience or interest.
