We are currently seeking an experienced Tile Superintendent to oversee our installation projects and maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Job Summary:

The Tile Superintendent will be responsible for managing all aspects of tile installation projects, from initial planning to completion. This role requires a combination of project management skills, deep technical knowledge in tiling, and a strong ability to lead and coordinate teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple tiling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and supervise the work of tile installation teams, ensuring all members adhere to safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and ensure the proper maintenance of equipment.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and design teams, to provide updates and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, such as contracts, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Train and develop team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a commercial Tile Superintendent or similar role in construction.
  • Extensive knowledge of tile and stone installation techniques, materials, and standards.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and project management software.
  • Relevant certifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in construction management, building science, or related fields is advantageous.
