Production Manager

The Production Manager will play a crucial role in the Production Department which prides itself on its commitment to excellence and its ability to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing the brand production process and personnel, data analytics, confident decision-making, and communication with internal and overseas offices. Candidates must possess proven proficiency in cost analysis and negotiation, along with strong Excel skills, effective communication abilities, and a knack for problem-solving. The role promises exciting challenges, a collaborative atmosphere, and impactful work that directly influences product quality. This position will report to the Director of Production from our Greenwich, CT headquarters on a hybrid schedule - 3 days in office/2 days remote.
Responsibilities
- Domestic and International brand production management
- Personnel management of coordinators
- Costing analysis
- Establishing price targets to factory
- Sending projections to agent
- Production scheduling
- Weekly sales trend analysis reporting to Sales Director/EVP
- Email correspondence with internal departments and overseas trading office in regards to all aspects of production, costing, delivery accelerations/delays, etc.
- Managing customer service inquires as it relates to specific brand management
- Additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years’ experience in a Senior Production role
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) and Outlook
- Good technical knowledge in footwear production phases
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills, strong sense of team spirit and responsibility
- Knowledge of Blue Cherry ERP Software a plus
- Strong attention to detail
