- Work with R&D Nutritional Director to perform cost analysis of new opportunities as well as existing products.
Responsibilities:
- Product Costing Analyst – 60-65k
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform cost analysis of new opportunities.
- Maintain costing of commercial/existing products.
- Work closely with supply chain to accurately maintain components costings database.
- Precisely build bill of materials.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Communicate with Suppliers for the material datasheet and pricing information when needed.
- Effective communication with internal team (Sales/Business Development/R&D/Supply Chain/Production/QA etcetera).
- Timely tracking of commercial product performance and generate reports.
- Maintain accurate project information, costing datasheet and assigned tasks.
- Assist in process/cost improvement programs.
- Work with R&D team members to develop electronic batch records.
- Help in various R&D activities as required.
- Timely reporting to the manager/supervisor on the status of the projects/tasks.
- EDUCATION/SKILLS:
- Associates degree in finance
- At least 2 years of finance related experience
- Experience in data analysis using various tools
- Basic manufacturing experience/understanding
