The QTI Group has partnered with a manufacturing company located in Franklin to hire their next Strategic Buyer – Raw Materials. The Strategic Buyer will play a key role in the organization’s negotiations and contract execution with suppliers and will be responsible for sourcing, negotiation and purchasing raw materials to meet production deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage purchasing functions and negotiations with vendors related to price and availability of raw materials
  • Management of supplier relationships and supplier scorecards
  • Monitor supplier performance, development, quality and availability
  • Support the development of the organization’s commodity strategy


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Purchasing preferred
  • 3+ years of purchasing experience, manufacturing experience desired
  • SAPexperience desired
  • CPIM or CSCP certification desired
