The IT Director- Business Partner provides strategic leadership to align business goals with IT process. Demonstrates functional expertise and acts as partner with LOB senior leadership and advances business objectives by shaping the demand and priorities for IT.

Making an Impact

• Partner with IT leaders to translate assigned LOB business needs and feedback to continually improve process.

• Identify IT opportunities in LOB from data, market, and feedback.

• Translate business needs back to IT team and partner on path forward.

• Oversee / lead IT projects in LOB.

• Oversee change mgmt. on IT projects / adoption.

• Serve as an escalation point for senior leadership in LOB on IT related issues.

• Align on “fixed” and “flexible” IT processes to support both the LOB needs and IT effectiveness.

• Provide guidance and recommendations to business units to improve business performance through the effective use of technology

• Develop and implement strategic plans to address long-term business needs while promoting IT efficiency and sustainability.

Sharing Expertise

• Play a coach and mentor role for IT teams/members to help align IT strategic initiative to larger organization

• Escalation point of contract for assigned Brand to IT leadership as necessary

• Act as a change agent, driving a culture of continuous improvement and IT excellence

Gaining Exposure

• Serve as the bridge between the IT team and brand business units, fostering clear communication and collaboration

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

Your Typical Day and Other Key Details

• Improve the ManpowerGroup IT processes aligned to LOB needs and prepare them and our organization for tomorrow

• Sit on LOB leadership team and play IT advisor role

• Work with leaders in LOB to identify needs in changing environment (internal and external) and partner with IT leadership to support

Other accountabilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in IT or a mix of business leadership and IT leadership experience

• Strong conceptual thinking skills, able to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions that are practical and efficient

• Leadership and political savvy

• Deep business understanding and acumen

• Ability to influence leaders throughout the organization.

• Very strong communicator

• Strong leadership skills, comfortable working in a collaborative environment where resources are flexible based on business need

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

• Project management experience

• Change management experience
