Job Description:

As a WordPress Web Designer/Developer, you will work closely with our experienced design team to create and maintain WordPress websites for our clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop your skills in web design, gain exposure to various projects, and grow within our company. Here's what you'll be doing:


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in designing and developing WordPress websites that are visually appealing and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create website layouts, graphics, and other visual elements.
  • Customize and modify existing WordPress themes to meet client needs.
  • Install and configure WordPress plugins and extensions.
  • Update and maintain websites to ensure they are up-to-date and secure.
  • Perform quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues.
  • Assist in launching new websites and performing DNS changes and maintenance to our hosting servers.
  • Assist in other departments as needed, such as our SEO and Digital Ads departments. 
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and provide project updates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in web design.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Website Development or related experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in WordPress design/development.
  • A strong passion for web design and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Knowledge of the Wordpress ecosystem.
  • Some familiarity with basic on-page SEO principles.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity in problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A portfolio or examples of your previous design work, even from personal projects or coursework.
