Punch Out

Work in the field for Southern Indiana’s largest homebuilder The Punch Out / Field Tech is responsible for supporting our Superintendents, through all aspects of new construction home builds.
The Punch Out / Field Tech will be expected to monitor, communicate, and take necessary hands-on action to ensure the protection of all trade work from damage by others, inclement weather, etc., including closing and locking homes / buildings daily. You will be tasked with completion of punch lists to ensure quality of the final product. Effective communication with subcontractors, suppliers, crews, etc. is a must.
Duties and basic skills include but are not limited to:
- Drywall
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Siding
- Flooring
- Concrete
- Hardware
- Plumbing
- Excavation
Other duties will include:
- Reporting delays to the Superintendent with proposed solutions that will result in minimal impact to the project schedule
- Assist with construction clean-up as needed
- Help monitor and maintain safety rails and other safety measures
Qualifications:
- Hardworking individual with a broad base of construction / home building experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Basic understanding of building plans and specifications
- Strong self-leadership
- Personal integrity and professional discretion
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to kneel, squat, bend, reach overhead, stretch, twist, climb stairs / ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Use common office equipment, telephone, locks/keys, tablet
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and drive; use hands and fingers to feel, grip, handle, and reach with hands and arms, while performing standard duties
- Skid steer experience is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
Job Type: Full Time
Work Location: Multiple locations in Southern Indiana & Louisville, KY

Compensation: Hourly rate. Pay is negotiable based upon experience, with a minimum starting wage of $17/hour.
