A nationwide company providing healthcare services to nursing homes is looking to immediately hire a Podiatrist (DPM) to service locations located in The Villages in the State of Florida. All equipment and staffing staffing. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.


This job includes diagnosing and treating conditions related to the feet, ankles, and lower legs, with the following job description includes:

  1. Examining patients' feet, ankles, and lower legs to diagnose problems such as fractures, sprains, infections, and deformities.
  2. Develop treatment plans that may include medication, physical therapy, orthotics (shoe inserts), or surgery.
  3. Prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests such as X-rays or MRI scans.
  4. Performing surgical procedures such as removing bone spurs or repairing fractures.
  5. Educating patients on proper foot care techniques and preventive measures to avoid future problems.
  6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals such as primary care physicians or physical therapists to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  7. Keeping detailed records of patient visits and treatment plans.
