About the Job:

As a National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing the strategic and complex Albertsons business of 12 regional divisions as well as HQ strategy calls. This role will elevate us as a strategic partner at Albertsons as we add more focus to the business. We are looking for someone with Albertsons experience, category expertise, with a cross functional mindset and a creative attitude to grow the business. This role reports to the Director of the Albertsons account.


What you will do:

  • Work to strategically grow Albertsons regional fresh businesses including Private Label (Deli, Dairy, Bakery and Produce).
  • Work closely with brokers to manage the P&L and drive the growth of the Albertsons business.


How you will do it:

  • Gain new distribution, expand distribution voids and grow existing businesses are the key success factors of the role.
  • Strategically plan and monitor the account through Product, Promotion, Pricing and Placement at each division
  • Conduct strategic planning sessions with Albertsons HQ on the assigned businesses.
  • Grow the untapped Omnichannel business.
  • Work cross functionally with the Lakeview Farms teams for customer service solutions, shopper marketing, and forecasting optimization, schedule meetings with the needed people to drive the Albertsons business forward.
  • Work in our CPM and TPM systems to manage projects and Trade funds.

  • A willingness to share knowledge to grow the team.
  • Broker management a plus


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in CPG
  • Expansive customer background with Albertsons
  • P&L management
  • Fresh category experience (Dairy, Produce or Deli)
  • Category management or sales analysis knowledge
  • Microsoft Office Skills and the ability/willingness to learn new systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
