Job Title: Avaya Technician

Location: Kissimmee, FL

Duration: Permanent, Direct Hire

Salary: $30-36/hr. (Based on Experience)

Summary:

The Avaya Technician is responsible for providing basic technical support for the telecommunications systems through the assembly, installation, testing and maintenance of the telecommunications systems, including its equipment and peripherals.

Responsibilities:

· Installs various types of low-voltage communications cable and wire, testing to ensure installation meets minimum transmission line standards and characteristics

· Installs and tests telecommunications terminal equipment and peripherals

· Responds to service requests as required

· Performs Move, Add and Change activities as required

· Participates in new installation and major upgrade activities

· Interprets and uses worksheets, service orders, blueprints and other documentation to ensure roper installation of products

· Prepares and maintains installation records and documentation

Qualifications:

· Ability to respond effectively to common inquires or complaints from clients

· Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

· Ability to work long, irregular hours, and be able to return to work on an on-call basis
