About the Role

For the first six months, your focus will be on automation testing. As we shift to SDLC 2.0, you'll take on a blend of application development and testing responsibilities, ensuring the quality and functionality of enterprise systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Testing and Automation:
  • Own automation architecture for functional and performance testing.
  • Set up test frameworks and infrastructure.
  • Design and develop automation scripts, simulators, and API testing solutions for complex systems.
  • Collaborate on defect resolution, root cause analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • Development and Application Work:
  • Implement robust back-end solutions using Java (Java 17 and beyond).
  • Develop front-end interfaces using Angular/React.
  • Work with databases like Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB, leveraging JPA/Hibernate for persistence.
  • Full SDLC Collaboration:
  • Participate in all SDLC phases, including developing and testing across systems.
  • Lead CI/CD implementation using Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, ensuring code quality.
  • Leverage AWS services like ECS/EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, and SQS/SNS for scalable, event-driven architectures.


Must-Have Skills

  • Java expertise with strong coding capabilities and experience writing testable code (Unit & Integration tests).
  • Hands-on experience in testing automation.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
  • Exposure to AWS services and modern event-driven architectures.


Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Proficiency in Angular/React for UI development.
  • Database experience, such as MongoDB, Oracle, or Postgres.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python.
  • Knowledge of DocumentDB, AWS Cognito, or Spring Boot.
