School of Rock East Cobb located in Marietta, GA, offers music lessons for guitar, drums, piano, bass guitar, and singing. Our aim is to help students of all ages and skill levels to discover the joy of playing and performing music. We provide a supportive and fun environment where students can build their skills, confidence, and passion for music.
Role Description
This is a part-time Guitar Teacher role at School of Rock East Cobb in Marietta, GA. The Guitar Teacher will be responsible for teaching guitar lessons as well as running group rehearsal and to prepare students for seasonal performances. School of Rock uses the Song-First approach to teaching, which starts students learning songs on day one and uses those songs to teach music theory.
Qualifications
- Guitar Instruction and Music Theory skills
- Experience in teaching music to students of all ages
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to inspire young musicians
- Experience in playing other instruments like piano is a plus
