Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Hartford, Connecticut. This contract-to-hire opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for clinical evaluations by collecting and recording comprehensive clinical data, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Adhere to clinic protocols and document all patient interactions, including assessments and updates, within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Answer and document patient phone inquiries, accurately take messages, and route calls to the appropriate clinical team members for timely follow-up.
  • Monitor clinical tasks, track and follow up on overdue orders, and ensure timely entry and review of test results.
  • Conduct and processed point-of-care testing, ensuring proper technique and compliance with testing protocols.
  • Perform additional administrative and clinical duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the medical facility.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program required
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Over 1 year of medical assistant experience


Additional Information:

  • Location: Hartford, Connecticut
  • Job Type: Contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday – 07:30 am to 04:30 pm
  • Pay Range: $ 22.00 to 26.00/hour.


*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
