Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure based on in-depth understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and network topologies.
  • Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Develop and enforce network security policies and procedures, utilizing firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and DDoS protection to safeguard organizational data.
  • Oversee the operation of data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Leverage virtualization and cloud technologies to enhance network efficiency and scalability.
  • Create and maintain scripts for network automation, reducing manual intervention and improving accuracy of repetitive tasks.
  • Utilize advanced monitoring tools to continuously observe network health, promptly identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to troubleshoot complex network problems, providing high-level technical support and guidance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a network engineering role.
  • Proven expertise in managing enterprise networks and working with network hardware and security appliances.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, IP subnets, and routing strategies.
  • Experience with data center operations and management.
  • Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for network automation.
  • Hands-on experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
