Civil Engineer (PE) - Land Development

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer (P.E.) to join our team and play a critical role in developing land and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in land development projects and be able to lead a team of engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review engineering design plans and specifications for land development projects
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project success
  • Perform site visits and inspections as needed
  • Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Assist with project management duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in land development projects
  • Strong knowledge of land development practices and regulations
  • Experience with stormwater, permitting, utilities, grading, and drainage design
  • EIT or Engineer In Training certification preferred
  • Experience with commercial, multi-family, and site-work projects
  • Proficient with AutoCAD and other design software
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
