Grand Avenue Animal Hospital is a new clinic coming to the Village of River Grove. We are located on Grand Avenue about 30-45 minutes west of Chicago downtown. We are easily accessible via the Metra or CTA/Green Line. We are in search of talented, empathetic, hard-working, dedicated veterinary assistants and receptionists to add to our clinic. These will be part-time positions, with opportunities to go full-time. Experience in the veterinary field is not required, but would be appreciated. We will primarily working with small animals such as dogs and cats.

Veterinary Receptionists will be required to upkeep his/her work environment, learn the veterinary software, retain basic knowledge of veterinary procedures and prices, and veterinary preventative medications. Good manners and client communications is a must. Receptions will need to check in/out clients in a timely and organized manner. They may need to perform some patient care during check in/out processes. All patients/clients have different personalities, therefore patience is a must.

Veterinary Assistants will be required to assist the veterinarian in the examination room, surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, and treatment areas. They will be required to work in a controlled and timely manner. Patients may range many different temperaments and personalities, therefore patience is a must. They will be required to up keep their work areas as well as help out others when needed.

Grand Animal Hospital is looking to open in the coming month of September. Please apply as directed in order participate in the interview process and set a date. They will be interviewing with me (Dr. Park/owner) and possibly with a second if necessary. Applicants will be given a two week work trial period. If we feel you are a right fit for our clinic, we can discuss contracts at this time.
