(Please visit www.Korda.com.)We are seeking a Survey CAD/Right of Way (ROW) Plan Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in land surveying with an understanding of civil engineering design and ROW acquisition procedures. These responsibilities involve the preparation of accurate and detailed ROW plans, and legal descriptions for projects involving highways, roadways, and utilities. In addition, survey mapping for a variety of boundary, topographic, utility, and site development projects.To be successful in this position, you must possess:Excellent time management and communication skillsAttention to detailAbility to work on multiple projects in a collaborative environmentGood social skills, as you represent our company at client meetingsWillingness to learn new skills and to work towards continuous improvementWillingness to work additional time as required to meet project deadlinesQualifications:Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3DProficiency in OpenRoads DesignerQualified ROW Designer with the Ohio Department of TransportationKnowledge of the Ohio Department of Transportation Right of Way ManualCarlson Survey software is a plusExperience working in surveying is a plusExperience in preparing ROW plans and legal descriptionsInterpret plans and survey field notesHigh School Diploma or GED3+ years of experience is desiredProfessional Surveyor (PS), Professional Engineer (PE), Survey Intern (SI), or Engineer Intern (EI) is a plus but not requiredMust be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States and authorized to work on a full-time basis.
