Summary/Objective
The IT Specialist provides support to end users for computer, application, or network issues, as well as assists with projects within the IT department. They should be well-versed with SQL applications and possess strong analytical skills.
Essential Roles
- Configure, install, and support computers, handheld devices, printers, and other general peripherals.
- SQL experience including Joins, Scripting and Queries
- Perform routine maintenance on hardware and software
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory of IT hardware and warranties
- Respond to telephone, email, and online requests for technical support
- Utilize ticketing systems to track issues and monitor resolutions
- Assist with designing and building Power BI reporting views using SQL data
- Assist with department projects and long-term goals
- Other duties as assigned

Work Environment
Primarily works in an office environment. The employee will also support devices in a manufacturing environment where they may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the manufacturing environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, and walking, and bending. The employee will regularly be required to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field (cybersecurity, computer science, etc.) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software, and Windows Server operating systems
- Understanding and ability to troubleshoot network issues and related hardware
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory
- At least 2 years of experience with SQL development
- Power BI experience (preferred)
- ERP Software experience (preferred)
