Maintenance Technician – Night Shift Location: Downers Grove, Illinois Pay Rate: $33.00-$38.00 per hour Depending on experience. Shift: 12-hour Night Shift | 2-2-3 Schedule (Work every other weekend) Hours: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AMAbout the Role: We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on the night shift. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and industrial equipment, ensuring safe and efficient plant operations. This position is perfect for individuals with strong mechanical and electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Key Responsibilities:Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot production machinery and industrial equipmentRead schematics, ladder logic, and technical manuals to diagnose issuesPerform precise measurements and tests to meet operational standardsCommunicate equipment status and maintenance needs clearly with team membersFollow safety programs including HAACP, GMP, and SQFQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing preferredProficient with hand tools, power tools, and measurement instrumentsStrong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and effective communicationPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:Stand, walk, climb, kneel, crouch, and crawl regularlyLift up to 50 lbs; push/pull up to 1500 lbsUse PPE including safety glasses, gloves, earplugs, and approved footwearIf you thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and are committed to excellence, this is an exciting opportunity to join a team that values skill, dedication, and safety.
