If you want the freedom and flexibility of running your own practice, but do not want the stress or expenses, this could be a perfect position for you Inspire Care Center provides on-site emotional support and cognitive therapy to residents at senior living communities, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Inspire provides you with referrals/clients, you will provide care to clients and are compensated on a bi-weekly basis.


This is an independent contractor position offering flexible hours and the ability to focus your time working with clients and providing excellent client care.


The right candidate will be provided with training on policies, procedures, and use of our electronic health records platform.


About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team, working with residents at various senior living communities across the Chicagoland area. In this role, you will conduct psychological assessments and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to help clients achieve mental and emotional well-being.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to diagnose mental health disorders
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client needs
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients of all ages
  • Offer crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic client care
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records and documentation
  • Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in clinical psychology


Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist
  • Experience in crisis management and intervention
  • Preferred: Specialization or experience in pediatrics, behavioral health, or special education
  • Post-residency experience in a clinical setting required
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay range and compensation package


  • Competitive Compensation


  • Flexible Scheduling: You set your own schedule. Flexible working hours with no nights, or weekends, unless you want to schedule them. Working hours are typically between 9-5, Monday – Friday.
