Ely Concrete Construction (“ECC”) is looking for an Estimator. ECC is one of the largest concrete contractors in the Southeast and maintains a consistent workload in the commercial and industrial sectors.


Requirements

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ability to disseminate information to Preconstruction team from General Contractors/Clients invitations to bid.
  • Securing pricing from ECC vendors for projects bidding.
  • Creating bid folders, and new bid setup.
  • Assist in concrete take-offs on various project types (industrial/warehousing, infrastructure, hospitality, retail, multifamily, civil).
  • Assist in inputting take-off data and creating estimates.
  • Assist in generating bid proposals for clients.
  • Assisting in maintaining historical cost data bases & other cost tracking documents.
  • Assisting Project Managers / Safety Mangers on an as needed basis to aid in overall project success.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Ability to review construction drawings/specifications.
  • Ability to meet continual deadlines.
  • Familiarity with On-Screen Take-Off, PlanSwift, ProCore and Bluebeam is a plus.
