Overview
Summit Professional Education is seeking a results-oriented Product Manager for Therapies (primarily Physical/Occupational Therapy and Speech-Language Pathology). This role oversees the development of dynamic and engaging continuing education courses for therapists through deep analysis of the market, incorporation of customer insights and smart use of subject matter experts. The ideal candidate has a proven background in product management, an understanding of the therapy market or near adjacency, and a passion for delivering high-quality education products.
Supported directly by the Chief Product Officer, this role works closely with the VP Content/Accreditation and the content operations team to recruit subject matter experts, develop and schedule products across all delivery formats, and improve course content and experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging topics and trends in therapy.
- Analyze competitive offerings and industry developments to keep Summit’s courses relevant and innovative.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to understand how courses are generating new sales and attracting new customers.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to gather customer feedback and identify opportunities for product enhancement.
- Lead the development of new courses from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with market needs and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with subject matter experts to create high-quality, engaging, and impactful educational content.
- Plan scheduling strategy for courses across various formats, including in-person, live stream, live webinar, and on-demand.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subject matter expert instructors, providing support and guidance throughout the course development process.
- Collaborate with accreditation, technology, and operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery and compliance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in therapy practices and education delivery methods to continuously enhance our product offerings.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management and development, preferably in the education or healthcare industry.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Passion for education and commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with learning management systems and educational technology platforms.
- Familiarity with accreditation and regulatory requirements in continuing education.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques; including at least the exploration of AI-empowerment
- Experience with modern workflow tools like Asana and creating new, complex processes from scratch.
Work Environment
This position is remote with occasional face-to-face collaboration in the Middle TN area.
