Principal Security Engineer

Our client is a company in the semi-conducting space that utilizes AI and Cloud Infrastructure to help facilitate hyperscale data centers with more efficient data transferring abilities. Currently in growth mode, our client is ready to invest in resources to expand their product's reach and improve efficiency. We are currently searching for a Principal Security Engineer to take ownership of the company's security posture and lead various compliance efforts across the organization.


*Must be a US Citizen, GC holder, or H4 EAD - no sponsorship*


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Security Engineer or Architect with an ability to lead projects
  • Experience with AWS security services (i.e. Guard Duty, Cloud Watch, Inspector, Security Hub, Trusted Advisor, etc.) *must have*
  • Familiar with third-party products and integrations (i.e. SIEM)
  • Good understanding of Network and Network Security fundamentals
  • AWS Network Security experience / AWS VPC and EC2 *must have*
  • "Jack of all Trades" - experience with both Cyber and Compliance (i.e. SIEM implementations, IR, DR, VM, Network Security, IAM, + security policy creation in adherence to NIST and/or ISO)
  • Very strong cloud and on-prem experience


Job Description:

  • Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of security posture and measures for the company
  • Develop security policies and procedures for the company to ensure data protection and compliance
  • Design, develop, and implement security tools such as SIEM, IDPS, IAM, MDM, etc.
  • Lead various security and compliance projects such as AWS security service implementations and certification processes (i.e. SOC 2)
  • Conduct various cyber tasks such as VM analyses, risk assessments, and security training development
