Real Estate Banking Attorney – Manhattan, NYCCompensation: $200,000–$250,000 | Full Benefits | Exempt | No Billable Hour RequirementA highly respected, long-established New York law firm is seeking a Real Estate / Banking Attorney with 3–5+ years of lender-side experience to join its commercial lending practice. This is a senior associate–level opportunity to take a lead role in complex real estate–secured finance transactions within a professional, stable, and growth-oriented firm environment.Key Responsibilities: Serve in a senior associate role representing banks in complex real estate–secured lending transactionsLead transactions involving:Construction loansTerm debt and permanent financingDraft, negotiate, and manage:Loan agreementsSecurity instrumentsClosing documentationCoordinate with lenders, borrowers, and deal counsel from inception through closingExposure to affordable housing finance transactions is a plus, not requiredQualifications:3–5+ years of real estate lending / banking transaction experienceNew York Bar admission required (New Jersey a plus)JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic recordProven ability to take a lead role in drafting loan documentationHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple complex transactions under deadlineProfessional, polished, and collaborative work styleCompensation & Benefits$200K–$250K/year depending on experience and qualificationsComprehensive benefits packageGenerous PTOOutstanding working environmentExcellent long-term growth and advancement potentialHigh-level institutional client exposureStable, low-turnover practice environmentCompany OverviewWe are an equal opportunity employer and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
