Sigma7 University (S7U) is a full-service training content development organization. We bring together our knowledge, skills, products, and global reach to create integrated solutions that are sustainable over the long term.


We are unique in that we create off-the-shelf as well as bespoke training content in multiple formats including eLearning, videos, and video games.


Our training design team leverages content developers, researchers and subject matter experts who can produce high quality finalized projects quickly and effectively, while taking the burden of effort from the client.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

S7U seeks a full-time motion graphics designer with experience in the production of videos, animations, visual effects, and other related media content using the Adobe suite and primarily Adobe After Effects and Premiere. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be familiar with graphic design workflows using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to produce digital and print materials. Further skillsets and software familiarity that would be useful to supplement our other training formats include web design with WordPress and Elementor, game design with Unity3D and Unreal Engine, and eLearning design using Articulate Storyline 360. This position is offered in both a hybrid remote role through our Warrenton, Virginia studio location and also as a full-time remote option.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop video content using Adobe After Effects in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  2. Video editing using Adobe Premiere
  3. Implementation of various visual effects including green screen keying and compositing
  4. Character animation using After Effects
  5. Graphic design using Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  6. Web design using WordPress and Elementor
  7. Collaboration with other designers and production team
  8. Troubleshooting technical issues
  9. Assistance with production of eLearning training using Articulate storyline 360
  10. Provide key milestones during production to track progress
  11. Provide accurate estimation of time to complete tasks
  12. Assistance with additional creative department tasks such as onsite film shoots and role-playing during scenario training


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. A developed portfolio showcasing previous work examples
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  3. A keen eye for detail
  4. A team mentality with the ability to take instructions, digest them, ask clarifying questions, and deliver accurate results in a timely manner
  5. BFA/BA/MA/BS/MS degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Motion Graphics, Video Editing, Computer Science, a related degree, or relevant professional experience.
  6. 4+ years of experience in video production using the Adobe suite with specific focus on Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
  7. Graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign
  8. Unity3D or Unreal Engine character animation skills are a plus
