Outside Sales Representative


Our company is looking for a full-time Outside Sales Representative.


We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative with 1-2 years' experience to join our team. Their position would initially involve aiding us in the recruitment of participants for a longitudinal research study and increasing patient load at the physical therapy facility, with future advancement opportunities in the company as we grow.


About Pro-Motion Physical Therapy & Pro-Motion Performance

With this role being a full-time position, we want our outside sales representative to work on both facets of our business – Pro-Motion Physical Therapy & Pro-Motion Performance. The physical therapy facet of the business will focus on the ultimate goal of increasing patient load at the facility, whilst the sport performance facet of our business will focus on recruitment of participants (athletes) for our longitudinal studies.


Pro Motion Therapy has served the greater Minooka area for over 18 years Our therapists are clinical specialists, internationally trained professionals. We live and breathe our profession and are passionate about getting patients better. We believe physical therapy should be easy to access, convenient and stress free. We provide a seamless patient journey from initial contact/visit through discharge and beyond.


Pro-Motion Performance is a research-based company, looking to determine how female athletes should train. Our end-goal is to develop a training program specifically designed for the female athlete that also includes injury mitigation. Additional study areas include Sports Psychology and the female athlete and Sports Nutrition and the female athlete. In collaboration with Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, we have sponsored a PhD student to develop the study designs for the longitudinal studies.


We are a rapidly expanding company that will continue to develop in the next few years. The role of our outside sales representative is to aid us in gathering participants of our demographic for our prospective research studies (Pro-Motion Performance) & increasing patient load at the physical therapy facility (Pro-Motion Physical Therapy).


What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Become familiar with the requirements of sports participation for the female athlete system amongst 14-18 year old's in the state of Illinois
  • Become familiar with union requirements and local businesses and their requirements and needs for physical therapy
  • Develop a consultative sales approach to build long term B2C & B2B relationships
  • Identify opportunities in the assigned geographical territory through research, cold calls and referrals
  • Proactively develop new client contacts (coaches, teachers, ATs, managers, clubs)
  • Promote and educate targeted clients on the benefits of our research program/therapy through one-on-one appointments, group presentations, and more
  • Work closely with program directors and team members to update on prospective meetings, clients and to achieve recruitment objectives
  • Regularly review and analyze strategies in place for recruitment and make recommendations / changes where necessary to effectively recruit participants and increase patient load


As an Outside Sales Representative, you are:

  • Motivated to achieve company goals.
  • Able to evaluate client needs, build and maintain relationships.
  • Strong at negotiating with potential clients and existing clients
  • Able to identify weaknesses in areas and strategize new ideas that will encourage the effective recruitment of participants
  • Able to use strong interpersonal skills to provide services and support to clients
  • Confident in your ability to cold call, email, text and actively go out and interact with potential and existing clients.


We offer a very competitive salary and benefits to the right candidate. There is commission to be earned through both facets of business (Pro-Motion Physical Therapy & Pro-Motion Performance)


Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree

· Driver’s license in good standing

· Energetic and a team player

· Sports background and knowledge (preferred)
