ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead or support projects for major facility transitions and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a continuous safety improvement culture through safety behavior, ergonomics, and innovative solutions.
  • Create quality improvement opportunities, ensuring all production stages meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement in maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to standardize policies, principles, and procedures across Our clients’ companies.
  • Develop and implement consistent internal auditing practices for client’s facilities.
  • Develop and assist with implementing process standards and quality systems.
  • Assist with on-site environmental, safety, and quality audits.
  • Develop standard technology, equipment, and facility requirements and specifications.
  • Share technology, equipment, and facility information across regions.
  • Develop world-class expertise in critical manufacturing technology and stay current on industry trends.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to operations across all regions.
  • Support major facility design and engineering projects related to process improvements, safety, environmental, and quality.
  • Ensure best practices are followed in all facilities regarding safety, environmental, quality, technology, maintenance, and engineering
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum ten years of experience in foundry operations with extensive foundry experience and expertise.
  • Willingness to travel internationally at least one week per month to support global projects.
  • Occasional overnight travel required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks software.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Interview, hire, and train employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work.
  • Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees.
  • Address complaints and resolve problems.
  • Assist with these duties in collaboration with the Human Resources department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequent walking; occasional standing, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, tasting, and smelling.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
