Overview

  • The project aims to migrate 23 existing ESB Mulesoft jobs to a new platform by the end of the year 2024.
  • The project is part of a larger initiative to modernize the integration architecture and reduce the dependency on Mulesoft.
  • The project will require a .NET developer with experience in ESB, RESTful APIs, and Azure DevOps.


Responsibilities

  • The .NET developer will work closely with the Director of Integrations and the Integration Team to understand the requirements and specifications of each ESB Mulesoft job.
  • The .NET developer will design, develop, test, and deploy the new integration solutions using .NET Core, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.
  • The .NET developer will follow the best practices and standards for coding, documentation, and security.
  • The .NET developer will provide support and troubleshooting for the new integration solutions during and after the transition.


Deliverables

  • The .NET developer will deliver the following artifacts for each ESB Mulesoft job:
  • A design document that describes the architecture, data flow, and dependencies of the new integration solution.
  • A source code repository that contains the .NET Core project, unit tests, and configuration files.
  • A deployment script that automates the deployment of the new integration solution to the Azure environment.
  • A test plan that outlines the test cases, scenarios, and expected results for the new integration solution.
  • A transition report that summarizes the status, issues, and lessons learned from the migration process.


Timeline

  • The .NET developer will be expected to complete the migration of one ESB Mulesoft job per week, with a buffer of four weeks for testing and contingency.
  • The .NET developer will provide weekly updates on the progress, challenges, and risks of the project.
  • The .NET developer will participate in regular meetings and reviews with the Director of Integrations and the Integration Team.
