We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Application Lead to join our team. As an Applications Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for the implementation, management, and configuration of the M-Files Document Management and Workflow platform. In this role, you will oversee all technical and operational aspects of the M-Files platform, working closely with corporate and practice area teams to identify and implement new use cases as part of the company's broader platform strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


Implementation and Management:

  • Lead the implementation of the M-Files Document Management and Workflow platform.
  • Manage and maintain the M-Files platform, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure the platform remains current and secure.


Configuration and Customization:

  • Configure M-Files to meet the specific needs of various corporate and practice area teams.
  • Customize workflows, metadata structures, and user interfaces to enhance user experience and efficiency.


Technical Expertise:

  • Serve as the primary technical expert for M-Files, providing guidance and support to internal teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the M-Files platform.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configuration settings, and operational procedures.


Collaboration and Strategy:

  • Collaborate with corporate and practice area teams to identify new use cases and opportunities for M-Files integration.
  • Work with stakeholders to define requirements, develop solutions, and implement new features and functionalities.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's broader platform strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.


Training and Support:

  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to effectively use the M-Files platform.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops or training sessions as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in implementing, managing, and configuring document management systems, preferably M-Files.
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with system configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead complex projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with workflow automation and process improvement initiatives is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • M-Files certification or relevant training.
  • Experience in a similar role within a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for document management and workflow automation.
