As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Human Resources team at our Corporate HQ in Mechanicsburg, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home® by providing guidance and support to equip our teams for success and manage the employee life cycle.


As a Shared Service Specialist at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by providing support to the broader Human Resources department and organization. You will report directly to our HR Shared Service Manager and work closely with a team of HR Shared Service Specialists.

What You’ll Contribute

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Complete all tasks related to employee changes, including transfers, promotions, beginning or returning from a leave of absence, organizational restructuring, and offboarding
  • Review and process requests for level-up promotions in accordance with Employee Qualification Standards Programs
  • Conduct exit interviews for employees within their resignation period
  • Collect and submit all relevant documentation for unemployment claims
  • Participate in HR investigations when necessary
  • Complete various HR metric reporting from the Company HRIS


What It Takes to Succeed

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience understanding and navigating all Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • HRIS experience required; Ceridian Dayforce experience preferred
